Verify a certificate

Check a CPD certificate.

Every EUCPD certificate carries a unique number. Enter it to confirm the holder, course, hours and issue date against the published methodology.

Format: EUCPD-YYYY-NNNNN. You’ll find it in the certificate footer. Verification opens in the EUCPD certificate verifier.

What verification confirms

A certificate is only useful if it’s checkable.

  • The holder — the named person the certificate was issued to.
  • The course — its title and the frameworks it teaches.
  • The hours — the structured CPD hours recorded, and the credits.
  • The date — when it was issued, and the methodology version.
How hours are counted

To a published methodology.

The hours on a certificate are calculated on delivered, structured instructional time — 60 minutes to the CPD hour. That methodology is published, versioned, and printed on the certificate so a reviewer can check what the number means.
