AML training that survives an audit

AML training is one of the most commonly examined controls, and generic, one-size-fits-all modules are a frequent finding. Supervisors look for training that is current, role-relevant, and evidenced.

Current means the content reflects the framework as it stands now — for EU firms, the AML Package and the arrival of AMLA change the picture materially. Role-relevant means a front-office analyst and an MLRO don’t receive identical training.
